Poynt is the all-in-one, easy to use local search application for the BlackBerry smartphone. Poynt enables users to discover the local area around them and begin connecting with businesses, retailers, restaurants and movie theatres. Poynt makes it easy for consumers to view search results on an interactive map, get driving directions, check the weather, see showtimes and watch movie trailers - all from within one intuitive application.
Users can search business listings by keyword or category, find movies by title, theatre, genre, or nearest location. The app also enables users to discover nearby restaurants, search by restaurant name or even by cuisine.

Poynt also shows users how to get to a selected location utilizing BlackBerry(R) Maps or Google Maps Mobile.
A new version has also been released in the UK, Germany, Canada and the United States. European locals and travelers alike can now enjoy the award winning all-in-one local search application whether at home or on the go.
