RIM to lead smart phones market with local production of Black Berry

Canada's RIM (Research in Motion) expects a boost on sales of BlackBerry smart phones as soon as it starts local manufacturing outsourced to Flextronics, that runs a plant at Sorocaba (Sao Paulo). Prices would be more competitive, and affordable to a rage of customers, while imported BlackBerry handsets are currently utilised by high income consumers only. In spite of this smart phones sales are growing at 30% annually.
