Rhomobile today announced that Rhodes, the company's Ruby-based native smartphone app development framework, has been awarded the Grand Prize for the 2010 Fukuoka Ruby Award. Adam Blum, CEO of Rhomobile will accept the award in a ceremony to be held on January 29 in Fukuoka, Japan. The Fukuoka Ruby Award was created to promote business activities using the cutting-edge Ruby programming language, raise public awareness of the growing software industry in Fukuoka and to contribute to the expansion and utility of the Ruby language around the world.
