Skinit, a provider of personalization products for consumer electronic devices, announced that it has engaged 3M Graphics Market Center to engineer and deliver Skinit Skins using 3M materials.
Working with 3M to develop the latest product line of Skins, 3M's material includes new advancements in adhesive and the Scotchprint graphics brand.
"Skinit is a market maker for new products and materials and is exposing 3M to new market opportunities outside traditional graphics applications," says Tom Black, Marketing Operations Manager for 3M. "3M Graphics Market Center is excited about our relationship with Skinit and the growth potential that we are addressing in the consumer device personalization market. We are proud to put the Scotchprint graphics brand on high-quality products such as Skinit's Skins."
In addition to the 3M materials already in use for current Skins, 3M and Skinit are also partnering to research and develop new combinations of materials and adhesives to continue to offer the most advanced products on the market. Moving forward, all Skinit products will be co-branded with the 3M Scotchprint brand, the companies noted.
