3M security products to be bundled with Skinit laptop and phone skins

The site, which launched on 1 April, with 3M Notebook Privacy Filters for 5 different wide-screen notebooks will see additional products become available during the remainder of the year.

3M Optical Systems Division, a producer of privacy, protection and personalisation products, and Skinit Inc, a vendor of on-demand personalisation products, announced a partnership on 14 April, in which 3M products for notebooks, phones and PDAs will be made available on a recently launched e-commerce site.
The site, which launched on 1 April, with 3M Notebook Privacy Filters for 5 different wide-screen notebooks will see additional products become available during the remainder of the year. Skinit specialise in the use of 3M products to allow customers to create branded, designed, and personalised electronic device covers, or skins. 3M Privacy Filters prevent invasion of personal space by darkening laptop screens when viewed from the side.
